Say hello to Mickey, our newest DCE intern here at St. Luke’s! She’s joining us from Colorado Springs and brings with her a love for the outdoors, a heart for youth ministry, and a passion for walking alongside students in their faith journeys.
She earned her degree in Christian Education Leadership from Concordia University–Nebraska (Go Dawgs!) and will be serving in High School Youth Ministry and supporting our Spiritual Formation Department.
Mickey loves mystery novels, mac & cheese, and bubble gum ice cream. A fun fact? She’s adopted — and no, she’s not related to Mickey Mouse 😉. Her favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9, a beautiful reminder of God’s grace.
When asked what she’s most excited about, Mickey said, “High school students ask such deep, thoughtful questions. I’m excited to build relationships and be part of their faith walk!”
