We are thrilled to welcome five incredible educators to our St. Luke’s family: Miss Chisholm, Mrs. Coerber, Miss Danico, Mrs. Isler, and Mrs. Kortus! Each brings a unique blend of experience, enthusiasm, and heart — all deeply rooted in our mission of providing a Christ-centered and educationally excellent environment.

Miss Chisholm – 3-Year-Old Preschool Teacher
A proud graduate of UCF with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Miss Chisholm has spent the last three years working with our youngest learners. She’s excited to begin her first year as a lead teacher and looks forward to connecting with each student.

“The kids at St. Luke’s are so silly, curious, and full of personality. Every day brings something new — it’s so rewarding to grow and learn together!”

Mrs. Coerber – 4-Year-Old Preschool Teacher
Bringing over two decades of teaching experience, Mrs. Coerber is joining us for her 24th year in early childhood education. She holds a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, Seward.

“I’m especially excited about using the Outdoor Classroom — kids need the chance to play in the mud and water! It’s such an important part of learning and growing.”

Miss Danico – 1 & 2-Year-Old Preschool Teacher
Miss Danico has been part of the St. Luke’s community since Kindergarten and is now returning to serve as a teacher after graduating from UCF. She has worked in various roles over the past six years and recently found her calling with our littlest learners.

“I love watching their personalities bloom. The innocence and sweetness of this age opens your eyes to so much beauty in the world.”

Mrs. Isler – 4th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Isler started her educational journey in our preschool program with Mrs. Tenney as her teacher. She’s now returning as a graduate of UCF with a degree in Elementary Education.

“It feels full circle to return as a teacher. I’m honored to be part of a school that shaped me and excited to help students grow in both knowledge and faith.”

Mrs. Kortus – Math Support Teacher
With 11 years of teaching experience and a deep love for math, Mrs. Kortus is ready to help students feel confident and excited about learning. She holds a Master’s in K–8 Math and Science and a degree in Elementary Education, both from UCF.

“I’m looking forward to building relationships with students and sharing my passion for math. Being part of a Christ-centered community makes this opportunity even more special.”

Please join us in giving a joyful and heartfelt welcome to Miss Chisholm, Mrs. Coerber, Miss Danico, Mrs. Isler, and Mrs. Kortus. We’re so excited to have them as part of the St. Luke’s family!
