Meet the New Faces of St. Luke’s!
We are excited to welcome five outstanding educators to the St. Luke’s family: Miss Dalphny Cafe, Mr. Zach Casey, Mrs. Lauren Harley, Miss Hanna Hesselbart and Mrs. Elizabeth Pullum, Each brings unique experiences, a heart for Christian education, and a passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We are grateful God has called each of them to St. Luke’s and look forward to the many ways they will bless our students and families.
Miss Dalphny Cafe
Miss Cafe joins St. Luke’s for her second year of teaching after serving in private Christian education, where she taught second and third grade. She earned her degree in Secondary Education in Biology with a minor in Studio Arts from the University of Central Florida and believes the Lord called her into education.
“I’m excited to continue growing as an educator, reconnect with former students, and serve alongside a team that shares a passion for Christian education.”
Outside the classroom, Dalphny enjoys creating art, reading, baking, and spending time with friends. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 27:13–14.
Mr. Zach Casey
Mr. Casey begins his first year as a classroom teacher after serving St. Luke’s students for the past seven years in Extended Care, as a substitute teacher, and as a classroom aide. He earned his degree in Elementary Education from UCF.
“I love creating engaging, hands-on lessons that help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually while making school a place they look forward to each day.”
Outside of school, Zach enjoys hiking, visiting theme parks, and learning about history and oceanography. His favorite Bible verses are Philippians 4:13 and Isaiah 41:10.
Mrs. Lauren Harley
Mrs. Harley brings four years of experience teaching preschool in private Christian education. She earned degrees in Political Science and English from UCF and is passionate about helping young children discover God’s world while growing in their faith.
“I’m looking forward to experiencing those wonderful ‘light bulb’ moments as students discover something new each day.”
Lauren is a lifelong Oviedo resident, St. Luke’s parent, and wife of a St. Luke’s alumnus. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5–6.
Miss Hanna Hesselbart
Miss Hesselbart is beginning her first year as a classroom teacher after graduating from UCF with a degree in Elementary Education. She previously worked with two-year-olds and Pre-K students in private Christian education and comes from a family of educators.
“I’m excited to make lasting memories with my second-grade students as we grow together in both faith and academics.”
Hanna enjoys volleyball, arts and crafts, traveling, music, and Disney. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 60:22.
Mrs. Elizabeth Pullum
Mrs. Pullum returns to St. Luke’s with 12 years of teaching experience in grades Kindergarten through 6th. A UCF graduate in Elementary Education, she was inspired to become a teacher by her own second-grade teacher.
“I’m excited to return to St. Luke’s, reconnect with the school community, and continue making a difference in the lives of students.”
Elizabeth enjoys volleyball, baking, spending time with family, and fostering kittens. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:5.
