Last Friday, 35 of our students, ranging from 5th through 8th grade, had the distinct honor of participating in the 41st Annual Music Festival for the Florida-Georgia Lutheran district. Hosted by the St. Paul Lutheran Church and School over in Lakeland, Florida, our students spent an entire day performing a variety of ensembles and showing their support to the students from other schools in our district who were participating as well!

Our choir, band, orchestra and handbells performed in front of a panel of judges who then rated their performances from superior to good. Following their ratings, they also provided invaluable feedback that we can use to improve the quality of our ensembles in the future. Our middle school orchestra received the highest rating possible of superior, while our middle school choir received a rating of excellent and our middle school band and handbells rated good. We are tremendously proud of all of our musicians for their hard work during their performances and are so grateful to Ms. Carbo and Mrs. Nugent for glorifying God in the pieces that they select for our students!
