It is with great joy that we welcome Dr. Dallas Lusk and his family to St. Luke’s Lutheran School! Dr. Lusk joins our community with more than 20 years of experience in Christian education, serving in a variety of leadership roles including teacher, coach, Head of School, and most recently Executive Director at St. Mark Lutheran School in Houston. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married since college and have two children, Noah and Sophia. As they begin this new chapter in Central Florida, they are excited to become part of the St. Luke’s family and all that God has in store.

For Dr. Lusk, education is ultimately about pointing students to Christ while equipping them to fulfill their God-given purpose. He believes faith and academic excellence are inseparable—challenging students to think deeply, lead courageously, serve faithfully, and develop the gifts God has entrusted to them. Inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, he approaches leadership with joy, prayer, gratitude, and the conviction that a thriving Christian school is built by a community working together for God’s glory.

What drew Dr. Lusk to St. Luke’s was the school’s remarkable legacy and even greater potential for the future. He is eager to spend this first year listening, learning, and building relationships with students, families, faculty, and staff while prayerfully discerning the next chapter God has planned for our school. “The sky is the limit for this special place,” he shares. “I’m honored to serve the St. Luke’s family and look forward to building on the strong foundation that has already been established for generations to come.”
