This week’s Staff Feature is one of the familiar faces behind the scenes—Mr. John Allen, a proud St. Luke’s alum from the Class of 2004! After earning his degree in General Education from UCF, John returned to his roots in 2008 to join the maintenance team part-time… and never left. Now celebrating 16 years of service, John continues to be a steady, helping hand on campus.
Born in Germany to an Army family, John moved often before settling in Florida at age 7. Today, he and his wife are raising two Wildcats of their own who currently attend St. Luke’s. As a family, they love the outdoors—camping, traveling, and making memories together.
John’s favorite Bible verse is Revelation 2:10b: “Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.”
What he loves most about working at St. Luke’s? “Every day is different, and I get to use my hands to help wherever I’m needed.”
We’re so thankful for Mr. Allen’s dedication, heart, and the many ways he helps care for our campus and community! 💚
