Staff Feature: Mrs. Angela Whitaker
This week’s Staff Feature is Mrs. Angela Whitaker who serves as a First Grade Teacher’s Aide. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she brings both expertise and a nurturing spirit to the classroom each day. Mrs. Whitaker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University. Her passion for early learning and commitment to supporting students are evident in the care and encouragement she provides.When she’s not at school, Mrs. Whitaker enjoys spending time cheering on her children in their activities. She and her husband, Rob, have been married for 25 years and are proud parents to 3 children. Their home also includes two dogs, Piper and Winnie. In her quieter moments, she enjoys reading and listening to podcasts.
Faith is central to Mrs. Whitaker’s life. She prays daily over Matthew 6:34 and Philippians 4:6–7, verses that guide and encourage her. She shares that being part of the St. Luke’s community has deeply impacted her life and faith journey, especially through weekly chapel services. Watching students pray each day has warmed her heart and strengthened her walk with Christ. St. Luke’s is thankful for Mrs. Whitaker and the dedication she brings to our school family.
