Staff Feature: Mrs. Angie Moore
In honor of National School Counseling Week, this week’s Staff Feature is Mrs. Angie Moore, our School Counselor here at St. Luke’s. Angie joined St. Luke’s at the start of this school year and plays an important role in supporting the whole child—academically, emotionally, and socially. She works closely with students, staff, and families to help build the skills students need to succeed in school and beyond, with the ultimate goal of empowering each child.
Mrs. Moore holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Psychology from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota and a Master’s of Science in Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Outside of school, she enjoys going to Disney, traveling, playing video games, working out, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 12:25, and her favorite St. Luke’s tradition is Grandparents’ Day—a meaningful event that reminds her of cherished memories with her own Grandparents.
Angie and her husband have been married for almost four years and have an energetic three-year-old, along with two dogs. One fun fact that families might not know: she’s ambidextrous! Angie shares that being part of St. Luke’s has positively impacted her life and faith. Being surrounded by a faith-first community helps her grow her relationship with God both personally and professionally. We are so blessed to have Mrs. Moore as part of our St. Luke’s family!
