Staff feature: Mrs. Chastity Yenque

This week’s staff feature is Mrs. Chastity Yenque, one of our 2nd Grade Teacher’s Aides who is in her third year at St. Luke’s. She brings a warm, supportive presence to the classroom each day.

Outside of school, Chastity enjoys spending time at the beach with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite Bible verse is John 3:16, which reflects her love for sharing Jesus with others.

Mrs. Yenque’s favorite St. Luke’s traditions are the Fun Run and Grandparents’ Day. She loves seeing students excited to run during the Fun Run and enjoys watching them work on art projects with their Grandparents in the Outdoor Classroom. A fun fact families may not know is that she has traveled to Mexico five times with her husband and enjoys vacationing in Sarasota, especially Lido Beach and enjoying the local food scene.

Being part of St. Luke’s has had a special impact on Chastity’s life and faith. She feels blessed to work in a Christian environment and share Jesus with students daily. St. Luke’s is thankful for Mrs. Yenque and the impact that she has on our students each day.
