This week’s Staff Feature is Mrs. Kristin Bontrager. Mrs. Bontrager serves as our Curriculum Specialist and is celebrating her fifth year as part of the St. Luke’s family. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida. Her connection to UNF goes beyond the classroom. One fun fact families may not know is that she also played college soccer there! Outside of school, Mrs. Bontrager enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, going to the beach, and doing activities with her family.Mrs. Bontrager and her husband, Zack, have been married for 13 years and have three children: 11-year-old twin daughters and a 9-year-old son. When it comes to St. Luke’s traditions, Cradle to the Cross holds a special place in her heart. Her favorite Bible passage is Philippians 4:4-6, which reminds us to rejoice in the Lord, turn to Him in prayer, and trust Him in every circumstance.
Being part of St. Luke’s has also had a meaningful impact on Mrs. Bontrager’s faith journey. She shares that her time here has helped her grow in her faith and has given her even more opportunities to incorporate that faith into every aspect of her life. We are thankful for the knowledge, experience, and dedication Mrs. Bontrager brings to St. Luke’s and for the many ways she supports our students, teachers, and school community.
