Staff Feature: Mrs. Nohely Latorre
This week’s staff feature is dedicated to Mrs. Nohely Latorre who has been part of the St. Luke’s community since 2019 and serves as our Special Education Consultant through Lutheran Special Education Ministries. In this role, she works closely with parents and teachers to support student success. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a Special Education Certificate from Pima College. Her background in design allows her to thoughtfully create calm, supportive environments that benefit students who need them most.
Mrs. Latorre enjoys traveling and photography, capturing memories from the many places she has visited. A fun fact families may not know is that she has traveled coast to coast on I-10 and has visited every continent except Australia. She is also a proud Mom of four daughters and Grandmother to five and has been married to her husband Frank for 34 years.
Her favorite Bible verses are Psalm 46 and Psalm 139:14. At St. Luke’s, she especially cherishes the Advent Services and Graduation, celebrating both the season and the students she has supported for years. Being part of St. Luke’s has helped her grow closer to God and deepen her faith, and we are grateful for the heart she brings to our school community.
