Staff Feature: Mrs. Stephanie Allen
This week’s Staff Feature is dedicated to Mrs. Stephanie Allen, our amazing Teacher’s Aide in the 4-year-old Preschool program! Stephanie has been part of the St. Luke’s family since 2013, starting in Extended Care before joining the Preschool team in 2015. She brings years of dedication and a true love for helping little learners grow in both knowledge and faith.
Stephanie earned an associate’s degree from Seminole State College and holds Early Childhood certificates from UCF. Her passion for working with young children is evident every day in the classroom, where she supports hands-on learning and shares in the joy of discovery. In her free time, Stephanie balances outdoor activities like camping, fishing, and hunting with reading and crafting.
Her favorite St. Luke’s tradition is the Preschool Fall Festival, a fun-filled day where students go on hayrides, play games, and pick out their own pumpkins. Stephanie shares this enthusiasm with her husband, John, who serves as St. Luke’s Assistant Maintenance Director. Together, they have two children — a 9-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter — who also attend St. Luke’s, making their connection to the school a true family affair.
A fun fact many may not know: Stephanie is an avid hunter and has kept a special yearly hunting tradition with her Dad since she was just six years old. When asked how St. Luke’s has impacted her faith journey, she says it’s a constant reminder to “keep that childlike faith.” Watching her preschoolers experience those special “aha” moments of understanding God’s love continues to strengthen her own walk with Him. St. Luke’s is grateful for the joy and dedication Mrs. Allen shares with our students each day.
