No photo description available. This weeks Teacher Feature is our passionate 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Esther Edwards! Esther grew up in the Lutheran faith and attended a Lutheran school herself, which inspired her journey into teaching. She graduated from Mayville University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, later earning her Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education—both from her beloved alma mater!
Esther recently married her husband in 2023, who proudly serves in the U.S. Air Force. Together, they’re building a life filled with faith, love, and service. Esther’s adventurous spirit thrives in nature, and you can often find her hiking, kayaking, at the beach, or exploring mountain trails.
Psalm 23, “The Lord is my Shepherd,” is a verse close to her heart, reminding her to place her trust in God. Her dedication to sharing God’s love took her all the way to Latvia last year, where she volunteered on a mission trip with our church to teach English to children at a local camp—a beautiful experience of connection and service!
For the past 9 years, Esther has been devoted to education, with the last 4 years spent here at St. Luke’s. What she loves most? The sense of Christian community and care that makes St. Luke’s a true family.
Join us in celebrating Mrs. Edwards, whose love for her students and faith in Christ truly shine!
