This week’s teacher feature is dedicated to an educator who pours her heart into shaping young minds: Mrs. Jami Kisner. Mrs. Kisner has 21 years of teaching experience, 10 of which have been spent enriching the lives of students at St. Luke’s. Her deep connection to our school extends beyond the classroom, as her two daughters are proud alumni of St. Luke’s, making her a part of our extended family.
Mrs. Kisner is not only passionate about teaching but also finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading, gardening, and writing. These hobbies reflect the calm and nurturing environment she fosters in her classroom, where every student is encouraged to grow academically and spiritually.
One of the highlights of Mrs. Kisner’s day is the opportunity to pray with her students, a privilege she treasures deeply. Her favorite Bible verse, Hebrews 6:19, which speaks of hope as an anchor for the soul, reflects the steadfast faith she instills in her students. She delights in celebrating their faith journeys and watching them grow not just in knowledge but also in character.
In Mrs. Kisner’s classroom, learning goes hand in hand with faith, and every day is a new opportunity to inspire, guide, and nurture the next generation. We are truly blessed to have her as a part of our St. Luke’s family.
