Teacher Feature: Karley Chisholm
This week’s Teacher Feature is Karley Chisholm, one of our 3-year-old Preschool teachers who brings a warm, faith-filled presence to St. Luke’s. She has been part of St. Luke’s since January 2021, using her gifts to help our littlest learners grow in God’s love. Karley graduated from UCF with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and will begin her Master’s in Speech Pathology next August. Her favorite Bible verse, Hebrews 11:1, reflects the spirit of child-like faith she encourages in her students, and she says the kids are easily the best part of her day.
Many may not know that Karley has a fraternal twin sister and has traveled through 10 countries in 35 days across Europe. Outside the classroom, she enjoys sewing and collecting cameos, a hobby she started thanks to her Nanny. She hopes her students always hold on to their joy, curiosity, and faith—while also remembering she’s their favorite teacher!
Family means a lot to Karley. She has an older sister, a twin sister, a younger brother, and five step-siblings, and she’s especially grateful for her Mom, who raised all of them on her own. St. Luke’s is blessed to have Karley’s heart, talent, and dedication shaping our Preschool students each day.
