With an impressive 31 years of teaching experience, including the last 5 at St. Luke’s, Mrs. Nickle continues to inspire her 6th & 7th grade History students with her engaging and impactful lessons. She graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Christian College with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Journalism, blending her love for teaching and communication into a meaningful career.
Family is at the heart of Mrs. Nickle’s life. Married for 19 years, she has 3 children, 2 stepchildren, and 8 beloved grandchildren. Growing up as one of 7 siblings in a proud Veteran’s family, she developed a deep appreciation for our country, which she now instills in her students. Her hobbies include baking, cooking, reading, and cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren.
Did you know Mrs. Nickle was a majorette for 6 years in high school and college? She even twirled fire! Her passion for performance reflects her dynamic teaching style that captivates her students.
Her faith is her guiding light, and her favorite Bible verse, Psalms 73:26 – “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” – inspires her daily. Mrs. Nickle loves teaching at St. Luke’s because of the amazing staff, describing them as “second to none.”
We are truly blessed to have Mrs. Nickle as part of our St. Luke’s family. We thank her for her dedication, creativity, and the love she shares with her students every day!
