Miss Carbo was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida when she was 6 years old. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Florida Southern College, where she also pursued a minor in Criminology—a perfect match for her love of problem-solving and critical thinking.
A highlight of her college years was a trip to Russia with her music department. Immersing herself in the rich art and music culture there was both exciting and eye-opening—a journey that continues to shape her creativity today.
Miss Carbo has been teaching for 4½ years, all right here at St. Luke’s. She says she loves so many things about St. Luke’s, but what stands out most is our tight-knit community where “everyone knows everyone.” She’s grateful to be part of a place where we not only learn and grow but also worship together as children of God.
Her favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:16:
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly… through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”
Thank you, Miss Carbo, for filling St. Luke’s with joyful music, creativity, and heart!
