This week’s Teacher Feature highlights the dedication, passion, and talents of Miss Emily Frasca, one of our incredible 3rd-grade teachers at St. Luke’s! Born and raised in California, she moved to Florida specifically to join us at St. Luke’s. A proud graduate of Concordia University, she earned her BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Lutheran Studies.
When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Frasca’s talents extend to baking delicious treats, perfecting her golf swing, and enjoying quality time with her golden retriever Porter. A fun and adventurous spirit, she also has an impressive athletic background, having played water polo and been an avid swimmer throughout her high school years. Her love for teamwork and perseverance shines through in everything she does, whether she’s working with her students or diving into her hobbies.
What Miss Frasca treasures most about St. Luke’s is the close-knit community and the ability to share her faith with her students and colleagues. She finds joy in helping her students grow academically, socially, and spiritually, guiding them with kindness and grace. Her favorite Bible verse, Isaiah 6:8, beautifully reflects her commitment to her vocation: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”
We are so grateful for Miss Frasca’s dedication, enthusiasm, and faith-filled approach to teaching.
