This week’s Teacher Feature highlights Mrs. Karen Blank, one of our amazing 3rd Grade Teachers! A dedicated Lutheran educator, Mrs. Blank has a deep-rooted love for St. Luke’s Lutheran School.
Married for 40 years to her husband, Arvin, Karen is a proud mother of four—all St. Luke’s graduates—and a grandmother to two current Wildcats. Teaching runs in the family, as her daughter is also an educator!
With 27 years of teaching experience, Karen began her career teaching 4th and 5th grade at Prince of Peace Lutheran in Anaheim, CA—the very school she attended as a child! After her husband’s job brought their family to Oviedo, she found St. Luke’s in 2001, where she started teaching 6th–8th grade grammar. Over the years, she has taught every grade except 1st, now bringing her passion and expertise to 3rd grade.
A California native, Karen grew up among the orange groves of Anaheim, where her grandfather owned a grove. A fun fact? She competed in gymnastics during high school!
What she loves most about teaching is sharing Jesus and the truth of the Gospel with her students, helping them grow in both knowledge and faith.
We are so blessed to have Mrs. Blank as part of our St. Luke’s family! 💚📚✝️
