No photo description available. This weeks Teacher Feature shines the spotlight on our incredible 2 and 3 year-old teacher, Mrs. Tiffany Walker! Married for 16 years with two boys, Mrs. Walker has been a dedicated member of the St. Luke’s family for 9 years, teaching all of them right here with us. She holds a BS in Elementary Education from UCF and began her journey as a room mom and substitute teacher before being invited to join our staff and pilot our innovative STEAM program.
Mrs. Walker’s hobbies include traveling, taking annual cruises, scrapbooking, watching movies, and relaxing by the pool. Something you might not know about her is that she’s fluent in sign language, having studied it for 7 years with dreams of becoming an interpreter!
What she loves most about St. Luke’s is the love and support from our students and parents. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing her students’ “ah-ha” moments—when they tackle something for the first time or overcome a challenge. Whether it’s cutting with scissors, writing their name, matching letters of the alphabet, or reciting the Christian pledge, she cherishes the joy on their faces when they realize their accomplishments.
Her favorite Bible verse, “Be kind and compassionate to one another” (Ephesians 4:32), perfectly reflects her heart for teaching and her love for her students. Each child she teaches impacts her just as much as she impacts them, making her a true blessing to our St. Luke’s community.
Thank you, Mrs. Walker, for all the love and dedication you pour into your students every day!
