This week’s Teacher Feature goes to Mrs. Sarah Wason, who brings a passion for education and faith to our St. Luke’s family. With 12 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Wason has spent the past two years shaping young minds here at St. Luke’s, making a lasting impact on her students.

A mother of four, Mrs. Wason is no stranger to the school community. All of her children have attended St. Luke’s, and her commitment to their education mirrors her dedication in the classroom. Outside of school, Mrs. Wason enjoys reading, relaxing at the beach, and cheering on her children during their sports practices.

From a young age, Mrs. Wason knew she was destined to be a teacher. In fact, she used to make her brothers play the role of students in her “classroom” at home. This lifelong dream now shines through in her teaching, where she finds joy in helping her students learn and grow each day. Her favorite Bible verse, Psalms 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God,” is a testament to the peace and strength she finds in her faith—a faith she is grateful to share with her students.

What Mrs. Wason loves most about teaching at St. Luke’s is the opportunity to integrate her faith into her lessons, creating a nurturing and spiritually enriching environment for her students. Her dedication to providing a positive and Christian-based education is truly inspiring.

We are blessed to have Mrs. Wason as a part of our St. Luke’s family and look forward to many more years of her inspiring and guiding our students.
