Teacher Feature: Ms. Sandra Escabi
This week’s Teacher Feature is Ms. Sandra Escabi, who has been part of St. Luke’s for 7 years. She teaches Spanish to our 6th–8th grade students and brings 27 years of teaching experience ranging from Pre K through college. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Ms. Escabi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Barcelona.
In the classroom, Ms. Escabi creates an engaging and interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to speak and practice their Spanish skills with confidence. She enjoys incorporating creative projects into her lessons and loves singing with students and staff during Wednesday Chapel. Her passion for teaching is evident as she watches her students grow in both skill and confidence throughout middle school.
Outside of school, Ms. Escabi enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, and watching romantic comedies. She also shares a love of soccer with her son and they are both looking forward to the excitement of the World Cup.
Ms. Escabi shares that her time at St. Luke’s has strengthened her faith and brought her closer to God. She is grateful for the supportive community. St. Luke’s is thankful for Ms. Escabi and the joy and dedication she brings to our school.
